Danish Taimoor has returned to Har Pal Geo following the end of Humrahi, this time playing opposite Anmol Baloch in a drama produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, which was written by Maha Malik and directed by Seraj ul Haq. The programme made its debut on 21 August 2026 and is broadcast every Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM exclusively on Geo Entertainment.
To a great many of us who have kept closely tuned to Humrahi, the timing seems intentional. Although Danish's last programme attracted huge numbers of viewers, its conclusion left a significant part of the audience dissatisfied. The new programme, Nashtar, follows the well-known commercial formula and already shows signs of the kind of weariness we've seen before. Both viewers and critics have noted that the central conflict.. a dominant, egoistic landowner opposed to a principled young woman.. resembles stories we have seen previously; some have in fact described it as a reworked version of the same emotional structure that was employed in Humrahi. I can see why such a comparison is being drawn.
At the same time, the figures indicate that the audience is still turning up. Episode 1 reached 8.6 million views on the official Har Pal Geo YouTube channel within a short time, which is an excellent launch in any case. The drama has the typical elements that generally lead to good ratings: Danish Taimoor in a leading role, Anmol Baloch as the headstrong female lead, Naeema Butt as the possessive third character, and the dependable 7th Sky production standards.
